The mountains are a sanctuary to me, and the communities throughout this state are places I'm proud to serve. Before entering real estate, I spent 15 years as an air traffic controller. It was a career that demanded precision, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. I worked alongside highly intelligent and talented professionals, contributing to one of our country's most important infrastructure systems. I also negotiated and collaborated with the Federal Aviation Administration on behalf of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, one of the strongest unions in the USA. These experiences strengthened my negotiation skills and taught me the importance of preparation, collaboration, and advocating effectively for the people I represent. I transitioned into real estate because I wanted to work more closely with people and help guide them through one of life's most meaningful milestones: homeownership. Today, I bring the same discipline, analytical thinking, and commitment to service from my previous career to every real estate relationship. A Commitment to Community Serving others has always been an important part of my life. Over the years, I've been fortunate to contribute to several organizations and community initiatives, including: High Plains Library District Foundation (2021–present): Board member, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Financial Planning Committees, and Treasurer of the Foundation. Homeowners Association (2024–present): Vice President, helping identify improvements and achieve more than $15,000 in community savings. Elementary School Accountability Committee (2024): Supporting school accountability and educational outcomes. Youth Sports Coach (2015–2019): Helping young athletes develop skills, teamwork, and confidence. Camp and Festival Volunteer (2005–present): Contributing time and energy to community events and initiatives. These are just a few examples of the ways I've sought to make a positive difference. For me, community involvement isn't about recognition. It's about taking responsibility, contributing where I can, and helping create stronger communities for the people who live in them.
