Tucked within the gated, 176-acre haven of the Colorado Springs Fly Casting Club, this rare lakefront cabin offers a once-in-a-generation chance to own a legacy home seldom available outside family lines. Only 50 cabins in the club! Perched above the tranquil shores of pristine Columbine Lake and surrounded by pine forests and boulder-strewn hillsides, this retreat embodies mountain serenity-just 30 minutes from Colorado Springs and about 90 from Denver. Located within Pike National Forest, the property is accessible via roads maintained year-round and offers unparalleled access to nature and adventure just outside the gate. Inside, the home is warm and welcoming with two spacious bedrooms and a cozy lower-level living room. Upstairs, a bright open-concept kitchen and family room open to a generous deck-perfect for morning coffee or al fresco dinners with panoramic lake views. A comfortable 3/4 bath is also located on this level. Off the family room, a second outdoor dining deck is framed by twinkling aspens, adding storybook charm. Large picture windows flood the space with natural light, while a wood-burning stove enhances the alpine ambiance. A separate workshop provides space for hobbies, storage, or creative pursuits. The home has a private well, septic system, and access to a nearby community well. As a member of the Colorado Springs Fly Casting Club, incorporated in 1908, you'll enjoy five stocked private lakes and a rich fly-fishing tradition. Club history includes government-stocked lakes, hand-built dams, and tales of "pound trout," July 4th celebrations, and snowshoe treks through deep winter. Twice a year, enjoy spectacular fireworks over Pikes Peak, visible from the cabin grounds-unforgettable evenings included. This is more than a home-it's a slice of Colorado heritage. Whether you're seeking a summer getaway or year-round escape, this is a rare opportunity to join one of the region's most storied enclaves. Cash purchase requ...
